Host a Village Garden
Do you have an open space in your yard and want to host a garden that can help us in our mission to feed families in need?
We are looking to expand our growing operation by installing and maintaining 2 more gardens for people who live in the west side of SLC. You will get a free weekly veggie box and a tax donation for all food grown in your garden
Requirements:
Garden must be 1,000 or more square feet.
We must be allowed to garden for 3 years.
What we will Do:
We will rip up your grass and install a garden with and irrigation system, compost and garden amendments, as well as plants for the season.
We will visit on a weekly basis to care for and harvest produce to distribute to families in need.
What you will receive:
A weekly Veggie Bag throughout the entirety of the grow season
A tax-deductible donation for the market value of the produce and cost of water used through the duration of the grow season.
